In search of the best hot chocolate in Bordeaux!

On the menu a nice variety of hot chocolates: The classic intense and thick creamy hot chocolate, the gourmet praline chocolate rich in praline, and the very light almond milk chocolate for those who have an intolerance to cow’s milk, we find also the Moka for coffee lovers, a classic hot chocolate with coffee from the Alchemist roaster, and to finish the chocolate shake with ice cubes. All these wonders can be enhanced with homemade Madagascan vanilla whipped cream. The icing on the cake, all hot drinks are accompanied by a chocolate of your choice: ganache, pralines, sand roses …

Nadia: I finally found for you and for me the best hot chocolate in Bordeaux, the palme d’or goes to the creative artisan Xavier Lalère who opened the first seated chocolate bar in the city.

The chocolate factory is open from Monday to Saturday at 19 rue Bouffard and also on Sundays 12 and 19 December, also a shop at 145 rue Fondaudège.

Both Mediterranean and Charente, Nadia began her career at the age of 20 as a theater costume designer in Bordeaux. A profession that she still exercises with as much passion. From shows to shows and from town to town, she discovers the regions; the countries ; specialties and riches both culinary and geographic. These terroirs where know-how and the local identity of products are forged, Nadia seeks to share them with everyone and shares them on her blog Follow La Baronne Instagram and Twitter! And the South West of France, nourishing and generous land, remains its land of predilection. Curious, enthusiastic, she lacks neither daring nor appetite to bring the product closer to the consumer, to support the initiatives of producers concerned with relaunching quality products. Columnist, she wishes to convey this pleasure and delight listeners.
