[VIDÉO] An employee ransacks a restaurant that would not have paid him for a month

An employee who allegedly has not been paid for a month by the American fast food chain Popeyes is said to have ransacked an entire restaurant by transferring all the boxes and their contents on the ground.

“This is what happens when you don’t get paid for a month,” introduced the video posted on the TikTok platform on Wednesday which had reached over 100,000 views, and shared by Fox News on Thursday.

Overturned boxes of chicken, torn bags of fries, spice bins strewn on the floor: a supposed employee who would not have been paid after a month of work would have attacked the restaurant of the Louisiane Popeyes Kitchen franchise in Chicago.

By the way, he also allegedly cut the payment port wire and stole the contents of the cash register, before leaving the premises.

“At least he got his money,” ironically noted the employee who allegedly filmed the scene.

The video ends with the arrival of the Chicago police, who would have been called to the scene to witness the disaster.

In several hundred comments, many Internet users have deplored the behavior, which will certainly lead to greater consequences for the employee.

“I understand his frustration, but there it is sure that he will not be paid. It’s a corporation, he could have sued them to get a nice paycheck, ”responded a user.

“You just went from being able to take legal action against them to going to jail for destruction and theft,” responded another.

Contacted by the American media, the restaurant chain would not have responded to the interview request.
