A month and a half after the tragedy of Travis Scott’s concert at the Astroworld festival in Houston, the latter came out of his silence to say that he hadn’t noticed anything abnormal while on stage.

On November 5, 2021, during a performance by Travis Scott at the Astroworld festival that he himself founded, a stampede into the very compact crowd at the edge of the stage killed ten people, including children, and many wounded.
In an interview lasting nearly an hour with Charlamagne tha God, the rapper, singer and musician also affirmed that the combination of several elements, including sound, musicians, pyrotechnics, lighting, prevented him from seeing what was happening in the crowd.
“As an artist you want to be sure that people are safe and you can stop a concert if something abnormal happens. I did it myself every time I saw it, ”he said.
In the aftermath of the tragedy, some 150 lawsuits were filed in court. Scott rejects all allegations, including that of negligence, with which he is accused.
