(New York) The editorial staff of BuzzFeed News, symbol of the new media of the Internet, will close as part of a savings plan, announced Thursday the director of BuzzFeed, Jonah Peretti, in an internal memo whose AFP became aware.
“We are reducing our workforce by approximately 15% today…and beginning the process of closing BuzzFeed News,” Mr. Peretti wrote in a memo to staff.
