Hospitalizations related to COVID-19 have started to decline again, according to Thursday’s report, which also reports two new deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, 18,288 Quebecers have lost their lives as a result of the disease. Of the two new deaths, one occurred two to seven days ago and another more than seven days ago.
After a rebound in hospitalizations in the balance sheet on Wednesday, they resumed downwards in the last hours. In all, 1,215 Quebecers with COVID-19 were hospitalized, including 396 due to the disease, which represents a decrease of nine from one day to the next.
In intensive care, there are 32 patients, including 16 who receive care specifically for the disease, a decrease of one.
On the case side, it is still relatively stable at 449, but this figure is still underestimated due to limited access to testing centers. Quebecers have also declared 26 positive rapid tests.
On the vaccination side, 3161 doses were administered on Wednesday.
