Event | Cooking for Iranian Women

From March 7 to 10, the Super Condiments bar will offer Persian dishes, with the aim of provoking discussion around the struggle of Iranian women.

Recall that a movement of revolt has risen since the death of Mahsa Jina Amini, September 13, 2022, for inappropriate wearing of the hijab.

Lara Zamani, Franco-Iranian entrepreneur and co-owner of the establishment on avenue Van Horne, is inspired by the global Cook for Iran movement.

On Wednesday, March 8, Iranian-Canadian chef Nima Pouyamajd will concoct a special menu. This dinner is open to everyone.

Other voices will resonate in the café-grocery this week marked by International Women’s Day, including that of Vanda Daftari, creative director of the Super Bonjour agency and that of multidisciplinary artist Mari-Eve.
