Alicia Moffet shone brightly Thursday night on the MTelus stage to officially kick off her very first indoor tour of her career.
The 24-year-old singer took to the stage in the Montreal hall shortly after 9 p.m., where an overexcited and already conquered audience was heaving with impatience.
Appearing in a luminous halo, the singer-songwriter presented a good part of her repertoire there, in particular the titles of her most recent EP “Intertwine”, released in March 2022, like “Your Knife”, with which she opened the show and “Run to you”, saved for the last part of the concert.

The young singer also played the essentials of her debut album “Billie Ave” (2020), including “Take Control”, “Open up” – a song which she relearned to love by playing it live – and “Lullaby”, in addition to showcasing projects she is working on or has worked on, including the Drake cover “Hold On, We’re Going home.” A project carried out with Amazon Music, which she sang in duet with Pelch. It is also the latter who warmed the room while waiting for the arrival of the starlet.
She also presented her new “Didn’t try” on which she discusses her separation with the father of her daughter, who had caused a lot of ink to flow at the time.

If for the first songs, the singer seemed a little shaken by the emotion of finding herself a second time in her career at the MTelus, she quickly took her ease on the stage which she lived fully throughout the evening, even taking the time to do a TikTok with the crowd on “Flowers” by Milley Cyrus. The singer was also warm and talkative with her audience during her many asides, allowing herself to laugh with him and explain certain segments.
Towards the end of her concert, the interpreter had also planned a number in which she repeated some of her most popular “covers” on YouTube, at the start of her career. A winning segment in which the crowd gathered Thursday evening at the MTelus was very noisy, singing all the songs played at the top of their voices.

Joined on the boards by Zach Zoya, on the piece “Addicted”, the ex-participant of “The Voice” also received a visit from FouKi, with whom she took over the title “Ciel” – to the delight of the fans who brandished their cellphones to capture the performance, Ryland James and Jamie Fine with whom she performed the title “Never Wanted This” as a duet.
On stage, the singer was accompanied by her musicians and longtime friends Oliver Savoie-Campeau on drums, Vincent Gendron and Maxime Lévesque on guitars and bass guitar, under the direction of Gabriel Thibault.
