At eighteen, Julie Unterreiner has just won the competition for the best young bakers in France. You can taste your bread in his bakery in Reiningue (Haut-Rhin).
After a week of competition, Julie Unterreiner returned victorious in her bakery, trophy for best young baker in France under her arm. “I’m super happy, all the more because I’m a girl and when in the bakery it’s not what there is most”, she rejoices. The teenager from Reiningue (Haut-Rhin) stood out against seventeen other competitors, each representing a region of France.
This victory comes to concretize his two years of work-study in the bakery of his village. His apprenticeship master cannot hide the pride felt towards his protege, and the work accomplished. “I was the one who taught him (…) I’m really proud”, he says moved. If Julie Land won, it is thanks to his achievements which require great meticulousness. She creations are very successful and the customers of the bakery do not hesitate to congratulate the young girl on her prize.
