Former Expos pitcher and analyst Claude Raymond has been involved for 50 years in amateur sport, the arts and sciences thanks to his fund, which awarded nearly $ 2 million in scholarships to young people from Haut-Richelieu.

In 1971, when Claude Raymond was playing with the Expos, André Dion, Jacques Trahan and Louis McNulty approached him to set up his fund to build a baseball ministry for tournaments. Claude Raymond is surrounded by 16 athletes from the year of his foundation.
