Writing on screen & projection workshop: “The archives of the sea” (2021) by Valécien Bonnot-Gallucci. On the roads of Cap Corse, Orsanto, an itinerant seller travels through the villages. After a nap on the beach, he sees the stranded body of a young woman. By collecting it, he discovers that it is about a French director of the avant-garde of the 20s: Germaine Dulac. His work is presented by film historians.
Master class: “Beatrice” (2018) by Rinatu Frassati – Produced by Folle Allure Vannina, a young director, sets out to write a film about the life of Beatrice Virga, an Italian actress and cinema icon who died in the early sixties at the age thirty-four. To be as close as possible to her subject, Vannina left to write the screenplay in Corsica, in a hotel where the actress often came to stay. It is winter and Vannina seems alone, sharing the place with the hotel pianist. As the days pass, deeply buried secrets will come to the surface.
Projection : “So that nothing changes” (2020) by Francescu Artily – After a long absence, Marie returns to her family home determined to present her companion from whom she is expecting a child.
