The number of hospitalizations related to COVID-19 continued to increase, for a fourth consecutive day, in Quebec.

Thus, in total, 1,807 Quebecers with COVID-19 are still occupying a hospital bed, including 584 due to the virus, an increase of 22 compared to the previous day.
Among them, 46 people are in intensive care, five more than on Wednesday.
Public Health also recorded 12 more deaths. Three occurred in the last 24 hours, four between two and seven days ago, and five more more than a week ago.
In addition, 955 new cases of COVID-19 detected in screening centers were reported, and 102 rapid tests, the result of which turned out to be positive, were self-reported on Thursday.
The health system must also deprive itself of 3,749 workers who are absent due to the virus.
