(Laval) A 65-year-old man lost his life in a road accident on Monday evening in Laval.

The collision occurred at the intersection of boulevard Dagenais Ouest and rue Esther, in Fabreville, around 11:15 p.m.
The victim was transported to the hospital for serious injuries and his death was pronounced there, explains agent Stéphanie Beshara, of the Service de police de Laval (SPL).
The driver of the other vehicle, a 52-year-old man, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries. He was arrested for impaired driving causing death.
He will be met by the investigators and his appearance could take place this Tuesday, specifies the spokesperson of the SPL.
