(Montreal) Léanne Labrèche-Dor will star in the first film directed by singer Anik Jean.

The distribution of the feature film my mother’s men was announced today. Apart from Labrèche-Dor, several renowned actors are part of it, including the duo of Good Cop, Bad CopPatrick Huard and Colm Feore, as well as Marc Messier and Benoît Brière.
The film, written by Maryse Latendresse, tells the story of Elsie, played by Labrèche-Dor, who must find her mother’s five ex-husbands when she dies.
Filming began last weekend and the film is expected to hit theaters in 2023.
