The new collective agreement will be in effect until December 31, 2027, Loto-Québec said in a press release, without giving further details.
The 455 workers represented by the Union of Professionals of the Government of Quebec had gone on strike for a few days before the conclusion of the agreement, which occurred last Tuesday. They had been back at work since Wednesday.
The employees affected by the new agreement work in Loto-Québec’s information technology, communications, procurement, sales and marketing, finance, real estate and legal departments.
A first agreement in principle had been reached between the two parties on August 25, but had been rejected by a proportion of 72%.
