On Friday, September 16, Ukrainian soldiers discovered a cemetery left behind by Russian soldiers in Izium. According to the first results of their investigation, Ukrainian soldiers were buried after being subjected to acts of torture.
A macabre site was discovered on Friday, September 16, in a forest on the edge of Izioum (Ukraine), a city recently liberated by the Ukrainian army. There, we find hundreds of graves, marked with crosses, some with names, others with simple numbers. There would be 433 in total. “In that grave, there must be Ukrainian soldiers”says a soldier.
Ukrainian soldiers are busy around a hole bigger than the others. Indeed, an inscription reads, “Ukrainian army 17 people”. Investigators began to exhume the bodies. According to the first results of the investigation, the soldiers were allegedly subjected to acts of torture. The UN has asked for one of its teams to be sent there to determine the circumstances of the death of all these people. Ukraine accuses Russia of mass murder and war crimes.
