In the midst of turmoil, Gilles Artigues ends up confronting him with his chief of staff, Pierre Gauttieri: “You did a despicable thing to try to frame me”he underlines and adds: “It falls within the framework of a very specific law which is the violation of privacy, the capture of images against the will of the person and use for political purposes. And that is at least two years in prison. But Pierre Gauttieri ignores his warning: “If the fact that I go to jail makes you fall because you pass for an old pedal on the return, I have no problem […]. I function exactly as a criminal can function”.
What Gaël Perdriau responds to: “Once it’s on the networks, it’s more blackmail. It’s an execution”. And that’s not all ! In 2018, Pierre Gauttieri is more menacing about his threats: “I have a video of you barebacking with a guy. The very Catholic deputy Gilles Artigues, a very good father, in something like that? Go ahead, go explain to the voters”. But the deputy no longer wants to let it go: “I did nothing illegal in this case. A moral fault perhaps. If I dive, you will dive too”. If the case has generated countless reactions within the political class, it is still in the hands of justice!
