“With the approach of (Hurricane) Danielle (now downgraded to the stage of a classic mid-latitude depression) off the Portuguese coast, a rise in warm air will gradually take place over France this weekend.”, explains Météo France in a tweet. According to the operator, the time “will get warm again in the south” from Sunday, “with peaks at 33-35 degrees in the Southwest”.
The rest of the country will not be spared and will experience “very high temperatures for mid-September, with the 30°C mark largely reached or exceeded in the southern two thirds of the country”specifies Météo France.

This peak of strong heat should however not last since Météo France is part of a stormy passage “which will progress on the country from Tuesday” and who will drag “the whole week”. “We will particularly follow heavy rainfall under thunderstorms in the middle of the week, from the Gulf of Lion towards the eastern facade.adds Météo France.
