A 13 year old boy is hospitalized in Albi this Friday, September 2, 2022. He suffered a head trauma; the Tarn firefighters took charge of him around 3 p.m. and transported him to the Albi hospital center in absolute urgency. What looks like an accident happened at the Pont d’Arthès between Saint-Juéry and Arthès. He was the victim of a “aquatic accident in a natural environment”, indicates the Tarn SDIS without saying more.
Frequent accidents
Swimming is prohibited here, although many people jump off the bridge. In 2019, a 14-year-old teenager had jumped from the same bridge and was seriously injured. In August 2021,a 22 year old man was deadt after diving in the Tarn at the same place. His head had probably hit a rock, he was alone at the time.
