In Saint André des Eaux, very close to Saint-Nazaire, the Kouviadenn company is organizing its 4th medieval festival and its “Guillaume de Saint-André” market, thus reviving the memory of the man who was biographer and secretary to Duke Jean IV of Brittany and who gave its name to the town. The association will make visitors experience life in the Middle Ages for a weekend, the public will vibrate to the sounds of troubadours, tremble during the fighting of knights, archery, fire-eaters, or simply stroll through through the stalls of about fifteen craftsmen present on the site. The Kouviadenn company participates in many medieval festivals in the region and elsewhere such as Guérande, Ranrouët, Commequiers, Montreuil-Bellay for the most recent ones.
