The investigation was relaunched last July, 27 years later, and led to the indictment of his widow, Maria M. Advances scientists with in particular new genetic analyzes have brought to light elements to advance the investigation, but not only. The behavior of the alleged culprit increasingly questions the investigators: inconsistencies, detached attitude in police custody and her very close relationship with her son Anthony.
It is necessary to reconstruct the story of Maria and Christophe Doire to try to understand what this family could hide. If Maria surprises the investigators with her impassiveness, even her indifference regarding the death of the father of her child, they ask her to talk about their son Anthony, a baby born when the young couple had just married: “We have a very strong bond, even more than very strong. She explains that she has invested a lot in her education, unlike her own parents whom she describes as “parents” and whom she left by marrying the hunter she met at the age of 15. : “I was running away from my parents. [Christophe Doire] was there for me.”
But their marriage has experienced difficulties. “Christophe cared more about his hunting stories” than her family and her son. She describes herself as fusional with her boy. Today and after two months in pre-trial detention, she was released on August 20 with house arrest under electronic surveillance by decision of the investigating chamber, specifies the daily.
Christophe Doire’s widow, Maria, remains presumed innocent of the charges against her until the final judgment of this case.
