“I feel like I’ve been through three bereavements”: Sara Mortensen bitter on Plus belle la vie

Several months ago, the news broke: More beautiful life stop. Fans of the France 3 show will no longer have the opportunity to follow the intrigues at the Mistral from next November. In the meantime, the teams are preparing for a smooth ending. Not enough, however, to appease the hearts of the actors, like that of Laurent Kérusoré, interpreter of Thomas Marci since the very beginnings in 2004. Sara Mortensen also has a lot of trouble digesting the pill.

Dismissed from the soap opera since 2019, after seven years of lending her features to the character of Coralie, the 42-year-old actress was plunged back into her bad memories with this news. During an interview for Star TV, released Monday, August 22, she expressed her rather bitter reaction. “It made me super sad. I feel like I’ve been through three bereavements. First, I had to leave my character coerced and forced. The dismissal was brutal; there is the art and the way of doing it. Then they killed Coralie on the show. And now, More beautiful life stop“, she regretted, adding to be elsewhere”very sad for the technicians“to whom she could not say goodbye. Despite a rather mixed report, Sara Mortensen still retains a lot of positives.”But I have all the same a feeling of gratitude because it’s a wonderful acting school“, she admitted.

Since his “forced” departure from More beautiful life, Sara Mortensen has managed to turn the page. For three years, she has notably played the leading role in the detective series Astrid and Raphaelle, that of a young woman with autism, documentalist and expert in criminology. The launch of season 3 is also expected on France 2 this Friday, August 26. What’s more, Sara Mortensen will soon be in the cast of The Abyssa six-part series with Gil Alma, and will appear in an episode of Criminal Tropics. She also boxed a TV movie with Philippe Bas entitled The wolf trail. For the actress, life remains beautiful despite everything!
