The clues are slim in the investigation into the disappearance of Delphine Jubillar, which now dates back more than a year and a half. The authorities are therefore looking with the greatest attention with the major elements they have at their disposal to solve this mystery in which there is neither body nor crime scene. One of them is the pair of glasses worn by the Tarn nurse on the evening of her sudden and unexplained disappearance. A new expertise has just been unveiled on this object which was discovered a few days after the disappearance by the gendarmes, broken in two.
The Parisian unveiled the results of new analyzes on the frame owned by the mother of Elyah and Louis. The latter, 6 years old at the time, formally assured that his mother had them the last night she was seen, since she used them to watch the show he loves, France has an unbelievable talent. Firstly, The Noon Dispatch revealed that no trace of blood had been found on the object. This time, the new analyzes revealed, according to The Parisian, that Delphine’s DNA, as well as that of her husband with whom she was in divorce proceedings, Cédric Jubillar, were present on the frames. No other trace was found on this object.
These results imply that no third party would have intervened during this final night, contrary to what the defense of the husband of the disappeared suggested. The latter is currently in pre-trial detention for spousal homicide for more than a year. Now his lawyers say there is nothing wrong with the 34-year-old plasterer’s DNA being found on his wife’s glasses. One of them, master Alexandre Martin, adds that if DNA traces of the craftsman, mixed with those of his wife, have indeed been found in small quantities on this eyewear accessory, the experts do not exclude that these traces may also come from”children of the Jubillar couple“, highlighted The Dispatch.
The trio defending Cédric Jubillar recalls that the glasses were “broken for a while“. Indeed, if an analysis had proven that the frame had been broken by an external force – therefore possibly during a violent argument -, the lawyers argue that they had been broken for a while.
Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
