the lifeless body of a man was discovered this Tuesday morning in an apartment on the 4th floor of the Heliotrope residence in Hyères, chemin du bocage. A fire broke out on the 4th floor. Thirty people were evacuated, all supported by municipal services. Firefighters said three people inhaled minor smoke. The action of the thirty firefighters on the spot prevented the extension of the disaster to the adjacent dwellings. Two firefighters were however slightly injured as a result of the heat to which they were exposed.
An explosion was heard on the spot according to the firefighters, but we do not know for the moment the circumstances of the fire and what caused the death of the victim.
