The Jean-Talon Market is holding its first wine and cider fair by Saturday, August 13.
Posted at 5:00 p.m.
About fifteen exhibitors will be on site, including the winegrowers of Fragments, in Ripon, and Domaine L’Espiègle, in Dunham, then the cider makers of Pied de Cochon (Mirabel), Cidre Sauvageon (Montréal), Cidre Intrus ( Quebec) and Cidre Maline (Dunham), among others. They can be found in the northwest section of the market, near the SAQ.
In addition, starting at 10:30 a.m., there will be free talks given, for example, by chef and cider maker Vincent Dion-Lavallée (Cabane d’à Côté, Cidrerie Au pied de poche). These take place on the mezzanine of the Jean-Talon Market, at 2e stage.
The event is organized by the Conseil des Vins du Québec and the Quebec Cider Producers, in partnership with the City of Montreal.
