Marilou Grenier wants to write history. Pumped up, the young goalkeeper from Boischatel will try to become the second young woman to land a regular goalkeeper position in the M18 AAA League. The battle will be launched on Sunday when the Blizzard Séminaire St-François selection camp opens.

To date, only one goalkeeper has defended the nets on a regular basis in what was once known as the Quebec Midget AAA League: Ève Gascon, with the Phénix du Collège Esther-Blondin, between 2018 and 2020. Last winter, Gascon also became the third young woman in history to win a victory in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, in the uniform of the Gatineau Olympiques.
