During the pandemic, the small pocket restaurant gradually turned into a grocery store, then a pizzeria. He’s here for good. But the Moccione as we know it has just been reborn at the corner of Saint-Denis and Faillon streets, bigger, with a bright kitchen offering a particularly pleasant working environment for the whole team.

Diners also benefit from this breathing space, designed by ACT architecture design and created by chef Luca Cianciulli himself, with members of the team who wanted to get their hands dirty. Luca’s brother, Giancarlo, is now a partner in the adventure started with Maxime Landry, as are chefs Gabriel Bisson and Pierre Joubaud.

Sommelier Catherine Picard makes the wine list, Lori Chiaradia designs the cocktails and Juliette Busch manages all these beautiful people. To eat, the formula has not changed, with a selection of starters/small dishes, several pastas and one or two beefier plates.

7495 Saint-Denis Street, Montreal. Open Tuesday to Saturday.
