Romeo/Juliet
During this 36th edition, which will take place from July 28 to August 7, 2022, spectators will be able to discover the tragic love story between Romeo and Juliet, in a show combining dance, theater and music, directed and choreographed by Corinne Mathou. . The power of Shakespeare’s work combines with the beauty of the Gavarnie site to offer spectators a unique experience.
Artistic explorations within the village and on walks
In addition to the Romeo/Juliette show, the Gavarnie Festival offers throughout its duration an artistic and cultural program entitled Variants. During the day, whether in the heart of the village of Gavarnie and or on a walk, theater, dance, music, circus, and readings will be offered.
