(Trois-Rivières) Colourful, fiery, moving, catchy: from Ginette Reno to Marie-Mai via Julie Masse and Marie-Denise Pelletier, Cirque du Soleil covered the range of emotions with Long live our divas Wednesday evening. From make-up to costumes, sets and even choreography, all the elements amalgamated in perfect accuracy to bring to life the greatest hits of Quebec divas.

The Cogeco Amphitheater in Trois-Rivières was transformed, for one evening – and it will do so until August 20 – into a universe that transports us from one world to another from painting to painting. In one, we could clap our hands, start dancing in our seat, while in another, shivers ran through our bodies from the beauty and wonder of the acrobats and performers on stage.
