Since the disappearance of his wife Delphine Jubillar in December 2020, Cédric Jubillar has seen the weight of the accusations weigh on him. He is considered by the courts to be the main suspect in this case and has been locked up in the Seysses remand center near Toulouse for more than a year. Months that had an effect on his mind obviously, but also on his physical appearance. During his hearing to rule on the extension of his pre-trial detention for spousal homicide, he showed changes, quickly noticed by Séverine, his partner (or ex?) who came to support him and confided in Actu.fr.
It had been a year since Séverine, a 40-year-old caregiver who was in a relationship with Cédric Jubillar a few months before his incarceration, had not seen the painter-plasterer. By coming to the hearing at the end of June, she wanted to show her support for him, at a time when the accusations are weighing down the case of the craftsman. When he saw her coming into the room, the inmate’s face lit up. For her part, she finds that he has changed: “He told me he was happy to see me, an I love you, asked me if I was okay. He made me understand that he is holding up. He looks tired, a bit, but I expected worse. I told him he had a rather long goatee, he replied that he had no mirror…“Indeed, he came to the stand with a”thick toupee” as a “goatee”, specifies Actu.fr.
Since the events and especially since she found herself immersed in the media whirlwind and then in police custody for concealment of a corpse – she came out free, Séverine took a step back and especially her distances, thinking her words. However, she dares to make a few impressions: “Cis disturbing. It’s nice to see him anyway. He didn’t expect it at all, I didn’t even know I was going to come to Toulouse… His smiles are touching. What else to say? I don’t know any more than everyone else. Since December, I had taken a step back. I said to myself: ‘I’m going to come and see him’. It will perk him up a bit. Now we just have to wait” What she hopes is that the one who looks like she has “a little baby” is not guilty, especially “for her children”. For her part, she tries to preserve her family who have certainly suffered her media coverage in the spring of 2021.
Present in complete discretion, Séverine follows the case carefully. The craftsman from Tarn and she started a relationship after meeting during a search to find a trace of the Tarn nurse. In addition, his grand son was a friend of Cédric Jubillar.
Cédric Jubillar remains presumed innocent of the charges against him until the final judgment of this case.
