Grand-mercredi, more than a medium, is a universe and a new site for new grandmothers! They find there everything that can help them and support them in their role with their grandchildren.
In other words, information, advice, experience, interviews, mood notes, good ideas, sharing, good humor with, for example, the “Adventure” section which offers leisure ideas and outings to live hand in hand with them (fun restaurants, exhibitions, practical advice…).
In France, one becomes a grandmother on average at 54 years old. The “young” grandmothers adore their grandchildren and still work, for some, travel, cook, play sports and indulge in multiple hobbies.
According Sophie Gaillet creator of this site, “C’is from experience” for example is a section in which we offer grandmothers a better understanding of their role, files in which we decipher their rights as grandparents or an article on the distance with their grandchildren, major subject in blended families”.
Also just released I cook for my grandchildren a book of 80 recipes concocted by Grand-Mercredi at Editions First.
Coming in September 2022: The book to answer all your grandchildren’s questions by the Grand Mercredi site with nearly 150 questions: Why the sky is blue, why spiders come into the house, why the rainbow -Heaven is not there every day… Questions of society, more philosophical questions, questions about the family environment.
