Conducted on behalf of CTV News, the sounding showed that 61% of Canadians surveyed have no international travel plans.

Nearly 6% of respondents said they had plans to travel abroad but canceled it, while 3% have made a reservation anyway that they are ready to cancel.

Conversely, 12% of respondents are not discouraged by their plans to travel outside of Canada.

Generally, it is Canadians aged 55 and over who are less interested (69%), compared to 58% for those aged 35 to 54 and 53% for those aged 18 to 34.

More than half (58%) also said they were worried about a possible return of health restrictions due to the increase in COVID-19 cases in the country.

The survey was conducted among 1,002 Canadians over the age of 18 between June 30 and July 4, 2022.
