Greece has faced eight years of recession, during which GDP fell by 25%. Heavily indebted, she had to apply an unprecedented austerity cure from 2010 for institutions to agree to lend her money. In 2022, the crisis is over, and the country expects growth of 2.5% for 2022.

A 2.5% growth of the Greek economy is expected this year, as in France, with the added bonus of the return of many tourists. Visitors are ready to spend lavishly, enough to support the country’s activity. Greece well and good turned the page of the crisis, but how did she do it? The Greek brand Korres is a famous cosmetics brand established in 1996. During the crisis, its founder continued to invest in research, and also focused on exports.

In 2010, the Greek economy had plunged, and thousands of inhabitants had gone into exile. Chryssula Stamatogiannidirector of research and development at Korresremained in her country. This engineer, however, had an opportunity in a large firm. But if Greece is doing better, it is first of all because the talents are coming back, as with Korres. Additionally, investors have new confidence in the country, with a 70% increase in foreign investment last year.
