The Local Festival at the MIN of Nantes

3 years after its inauguration, the MIN Nantes Métropole exceptionally opens its doors again to the general public and organizes La Fête du Local, Sunday June 26 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The event will combine meetings, entertainment and tastings, but no sales – market. Greengrocer, beekeeper, butcher, fishmonger, oyster farmer, dairyman, baker, brewer… Many local sectors will be represented. In addition to the structures offering events, the sorting & recovery (Veolia) and anti-waste (Secours Populaire and other associations) sectors will also be present. With this animation, the MIN Nantes participates in the national call for projects “Year of gastronomy”, launched by the State in partnership with the CCIs, aimed at supporting initiatives to promote gastronomy.

The 5,000 expected visitors will be able to participate in round tables, cooking battles, tastings, cooking workshops and demonstrations, activities for children, collective fresco and other activities, all day long, at the level of the producers’ area. Admission will be free and parking free, with a catering service offered by food trucks and by the sectors represented.
