Head to rue Pannecau in Bayonne to discover the Japanese culinary art. After studying at the hotel school, Sarah went on vacation to Japan. A stay of discovery that turned into three years of encounters with Japanese cuisine and all its flavors. From this immersion, Sarah came back with recipes and a desire to share her discoveries.
After a first establishment in Pau then in Bordeaux, Home Bowl opened in Bayonne a few weeks ago. There, you can discover the karaage, these small bites of crispy marinated chicken. Or tempura-style vegetables, delicious donuts with sweet flavors.
Without forgetting the favorite dessert of the Japanese, the taiyaki. An amazing fish-shaped dessert that’s topped with sweet red adzuki beans. Be curious, be bold, and bite into it!
Home Bowl will also offer you poke bowls with sweet / savory flavors, hot or cold, where chicken mixes with ginger, cucumber with ravioli… all prepared to order and in front of you!
Home Bowl (HoBo for friends) is open Tuesday to Saturday, from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. And for those who want to share sushi with friends, tasting trays will accompany you during summer aperitifs.
