Provincial and federal service points as well as City of Montreal permit counters will be closed. The Canada Post officesa and most ecocentres will also be. Exceptionally, the Service Canada offices for the renewal of passports will be open due to the current high traffic.
Most of libraries and culture houses will be closed, but several swimming pools and wading pools municipalities will be able to accommodate citizens. The same goes for the Biodôme, the Rio Tinto Alcan Planetarium, the Botanical Garden and the Montreal Insectarium. Many museums, including the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Contemporary Art, will also welcome visitors.
