A little over twenty hectares of forest burned in Freyssenet in Ardèche. Thirty firefighters remained on watch all night from Friday to Saturday. After a scorching day, firefighters managed to bring the blaze under control. This Saturday morning, fifteen of them will remain under surveillance.
The day of Saturday promises to be risky too. The firefighters will preposition resources on the ground: a forest fire group will be ready to intervene in Tournon, another in Teil, yet another in Aubenas. 60 prepositioned firefighters in all.
