Legislative: Christophe Castaner denounces “the conspiratorial culture” of La France insoumise

“Let’s not try to add conspiracy to the conspiratorial culture that we know in La France insoumise“, reacted on franceinfo Christophe Castaner following the first round of legislative elections. In a tweet, the campaign manager of Jean-Luc Mélenchon during the presidential election and candidate in the 4th district of Bouches-du-Rhône questioned the official results of the Ministry of the Interior.

La France insoumise denounces in particular the fact that candidates supported by Nupes, as for example overseas and in Corsica, have been counted as “various left”. The Nupes agreement does not, however, include these constituencies which are not in metropolitan France. “We are at Manuel Bompard in the classic conspiracy theory, the whole world is angry with them”, mocked Christophe Castaner.

For the second round, “not a single voice on the far right”, but…

“Not a single voice should go to the far right”, insisted on Monday June 13 on franceinfo Christophe Castaner. But the president of the group La République en Marche in the National Assembly believes that there is “candidates of the Nupes, from rebellious France who are not worthy of the Republic”. According to him, there are within the Nupes “anti-republican candidates from the far left who explain that the police kill and that we must leave the European Union”. Those should not count on his support, said Christophe Castaner, targeting Jean-Luc Mélenchon.
