Around 3:00 p.m., not far from the corner formed by rue Nobel and chemin du Tremblay, a citizen reportedly saw the vehicle of man 85 driving erratically.

Arrived at the height of her window while driving at her side, she would have seen the driver having what looked like a malaise. In an attempt to stop him, she bravely interposed her vehicle across his road, which worked.

Despite attempts at resuscitation undertaken on the spot, the death of the 85-year-old driver was noted on his arrival at the hospital.

Apart from some damage to the driver’s vehicle, no one was injured in the accident, indicates the Longueuil agglomeration police department (SPAL).
