In Essonne, the former member of the République en Marche is standing in the legislative elections under the NUPES label. He will be opposed to a candidate who is part of the presidential majority.
The district of Ulis (Essone) will be scrutinized by observers and by the majority. Five years ago Cedric Villanithe mathematician, presented himself under the label of La République en Marche. Today it puts his mandate on the line as an environmentalist, a member of NUPES, same if he claims not to be affiliated with Jean-Luc Mélenchon. “Today I am in my party, the ecologists”he says.
If Cedric Villani no longer part of La République en Marche, one of his opponents in this constituency is a member of the presidential majority. Paul Midy claims it:I am Emmanuel Macron’s candidate, Cédric Villani, he is Mr. Mélenchon’s candidate.” If he is one of the opponents of the current deputy, he is not the only one, because Michel Bournat is part of the Republicans while Christophe Debon is a member of the National Rally. They are a total of nine candidates to want the post of deputy in this constituency
