After 10 years of absence, the group Sexion d’Assault returns to the French scene with a 50-date tour. Brut followed them backstage to Paris La Défense Aréna.
“It really doesn’t feel like 10 years have passed.” Black M, Maître Gims, Lefa, JR O Crom, Barack Adama… La Sexion d’Assault is back on stage in Paris, a city that reminds them of their roots, on May 14 and 15, 2022.
“We play at home. Paris is our city of hearts. This is where we grew up, where we have all our friends, the family”explains JR O Crom.
“They were 10 and 15 years old when we were doing concerts. Now they are our age, in their thirties”explains Black M.
“We all grew up. We grew up with the public and the public grew up with us. Some come with their children, introduce them to the Sexion d’Assault”he continues.
For Lefa, “Nothing has changed. The energy is still the same.”
Since March 23, 2022, the group has started a tour throughout France.
