Two-wheelers and three-wheelers that have been registered for more than six years must undergo a compulsory technical inspection from the 1er October 2022.
From 1er October, a technical inspection will be compulsory for two-wheelers and three-wheelers registered for more than six years. Those over 125 cm³ are concerned, as well as cars without a license. “I worked for a long time in motorcycling, so I saw a lot of vehicles go by in very, very poor condition, so I tell myself that, indeed, it can be quite a lot”assures a man.
The environmental associations, which had seized the Council of State, are delighted. “The park of two-wheelers in France, it is aging, it is important. And in addition, it is also a strong emitter, and of noise pollution and atmospheric pollution”says Tony Renucci, CEO of Respire. “On the safety side, we know very well that the technical cause only intervenes in very few accidents”advances Didier Leroux, general delegate of the federation of angry bikers, who opposes this technical control.
