[PHOTOS] A man dies under his vehicle in Montreal

For an unknown reason, a man died after slipping under a vehicle on Saturday morning in the Plateau Mont-Royal borough of Montreal.

The tragic accident occurred around 10:35 a.m. at the intersection of Laurier and Mentana streets. It was a call to 911 that dispatched the police to the scene of the tragedy.

They quickly began resuscitation maneuvers after removing the man from under the vehicle. The victim, a 65-year-old man, was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Investigators went to the scene to clarify the circumstances surrounding the accident. A crime scene was also erected.
