Purchasing power: fighting inflation at what cost?

On Friday, INSEE confirmed the inflation rate in France in April: prices rose by 4.8%. This is a level not seen since 1985. Among the most significant increases, there is energy in the lead (+26.5%), the waltz of labels was strong in food (+3, 8%) and services (+3%). This pressure makes purchasing power the question of entry into the new five-year period. But how can we fight inflation effectively and can we really do so?
