To ensure even better coverage of its territory, three new frequencies will be made available to listeners of France Bleu Champagne-Ardenne.
ARCOM has just authorized the right to use new frequencies on the FM band for France Bleu Champagne-Ardenne on the transmitters of Rethel, Givet and Romilly-sur-Seine.
Implementation schedule:
- From April 29, 2022: Rethel (92.8 MHz frequency)
- From May 12, 2022: Givet (98.00 MHz frequency)
- From May 15, 2022: Romilly-sur-Seine (frequency 97.7 MHz)
Romilly-sur-Seine is located in the department of Aube which is not in the service area of France Bleu Champagne-Ardenne. The Romilly transmitter will nevertheless make it possible to serve the communes of Sézanne and Esternay in particular, which are located to the south-west of the Marne.
These new frequencies will make it possible to optimize coverage from Reims to the Ardennes Métropole agglomeration and to the Belgian border, and in the south-west of Marne (Sézanne, Esternay) by also ensuring better coverage of national 4, structuring axis for the region.
