Currently, 1708 people are hospitalized in connection with COVID-19. Of these, 71 are in intensive care, an increase of one person in 24 hours.
In addition, six more people have succumbed to COVID-19.
Authorities reported 2,804 new infections on Sunday. These figures likely reflect only a portion of the total number, due to limited access to PCR screening tests.
