The event occurred around 3:20 p.m. at the intersection of Boulevard Rosemont and Avenue de Carignan. A conflict between two young people could have led to tragedy, say the authorities.
The young man was injured in the upper body and was transported to a hospital, said the spokesperson for the Service de police de la Ville de Montréal (SPVM), Marianne Allard-Morais. “We are still awaiting his state of health,” she added.
No arrests have been made at this time. A perimeter was erected on the scene, so that the investigators could shed light on this event.
