In a meeting on the Place du Trocadéro in Paris, Sunday March 27, the candidate of Reconquest! did not react when the crowd insulted the President of the Republic. An unacceptable gesture for Valérie Pécresse.
Sunday March 27, Éric Zemmour spoke in front of his supporters at Place du Trocadéro, in Paris. During this rally, the crowd reviled the leader of theEtat while chanting “Emmanuel Macron killer!”which did not fail to make the political class react. “The events occurred while Éric Zemmour was making a list of victims of insecurity and violence in France”, explains journalist Christelle Méral live from Place du Trocadéro. It was precisely then that the crowd shouted, “for twelve to thirteen seconds”, “Macron Murderer!”she explains.
“This evening, the candidate of Reconquest!, through his relatives, indicates that he did not hear the crowd chanting and that he condemns these remarks”, emphasizes Christelle Méral. On social networks, Valérie Pécresse said that “Letting an opponent be treated as an assassin is dangerous for the Republic”. “For his part, Christophe Castaner, president of La République en Marche at the National Assembly, indicates that ‘not asking to stop chanting these words is unworthy of a position of political leader'”says the journalist.
