The number of hospitalizations continues to drop in Quebec, with a second consecutive day below the 1000 mark.

Quebec identified nine fewer hospitalizations on Sunday, for a total of 989 patients hospitalized in connection with the virus. Of this number, 45 people are in intensive care, an increase of three compared to the previous day.
Eight more people have succumbed to COVID-19, the province reported Sunday.
Authorities reported 954 new infections. However, this number is not representative, due to the limits imposed on screening, which is reserved for priority groups.
