A terrible accident has happened in the night from friday to saturdayin Metz, at the end of the expressway descending from Borny towards the center of Metz, near the Renault garage.
When they arrived at the scene, around 1 a.m., the Moselle firefighters discovered two damaged vehicles. In one, a 35-year-old man, slightly injured. The other car is a hundred meters away, rolled up against a tree. The two passengers a 20-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman are in serious condition. The three victims are taken to Mercy hospital, near Metz.
The young woman died shortly after arriving in the emergency roomas a result of his injuries.
Open investigation
At this stage, we do not yet know the precise circumstances of this tragedy. The investigation opened by the Messina police will have to say if it is a collision between the two cars, or if they are two separate accidents which would have occurred a few minutes apart.
