It has now been 22 days since Vladimir Putin declared war on Ukraine. Since then, in order to stop it without violence, the countries of the whole world and of Europe have not ceased to negotiate and bring their support to Ukraine. Moreover, the big brands, banks and international markets are leaving Russia in order to penalize it.
It is now England’s turn to support its positions. It’s done, Elizabeth II, who does not usually intervene in political debates, has clearly taken a position to support Ukraine. Among these items: three 17th century swords, a 17th century dueling gauntlet, engraved Henry VIII armour, a cavalry helmet and a Civil War wader. Some donations on display in honor of the exhibition on duels, sponsored by a Russian oligarch close to Vladimir Putin. A decision that the spokesperson explained publicly: “Due to the escalation of the situation in Ukraine, the Royal Armories have recalled loaned items” in order to insist on Russia’s guilt.
